Welcome to EdTech Sweden! The largest meeting place in Scandinavia for adult learning and skills development. An initiative and a community dedicated to help Sweden regain pole position in edtech for higher education.

    Airport buses
    The airport buses runs from Arlanda/Bromma to Stockholm City.

    Stockholm Arlanda Express
    It only takes 20 minutes from the airport to the Central Station in Stockholm.
    From Stockholm Central you can take the commuter train (lane 13-14) or a Taxi to Älvsjö.

    Commuter train
    There is an eco-friendly travel option between Arlanda and Stockholmsmässan station. With a new commuter rail line
    you go directly from Arlanda to Stockholmsmässan in just 50 minutes. The train departs two times an hour from Sky City, between terminal 4 and 5.

    There are also 8-14 commuter train departures every hour from Stockholm Central Station to Älvsjö and Stockholmsmässan, with only a 200-meter walk from the Main entrance. The journey takes 10 minutes.

    SL buses
    No. 1, 72 and 76 goes to/from Frihamnen and the Silja Line Terminal, passing Stockholm city.

    By car
    Take the E4/E20 and follow the signs towards Stockholmsmässan/Älvsjö.

    By taxi
    Approved taxis with metered fares always have a yellow number plate. Metered fares depends on the time of day but it shouldn’t cost more than SEK 300 to travel 10km. Always ask the driver beforehand. In addition to the major taxi companies there are several independent firms; caution is adviced. We recommend the following companies:

  • Parking

    We have 2,000 parking spaces in our parking garage and in the outdoor spaces surrounding the exhibition center.

    Parking for the disabled
    We have 20 parking spaces close to the Main entrance reserved for those who have a parking permit for disabled people. We have 40 parking spaces får disabled people in total. If you have a permit, parking is free of charge.

    Parking fee 
    The parking fee for a garage space is 50 SEK/hour or 150 SEK for a whole day.

    The parking fee in the outdoor parking is 40 SEK/hour or 120 SEK for a whole day.

    Exhibitors kan buy a ticket that last during the events opening hours, price 350 SEK.

    The automatic pay stations accept credit cards.


  • Accommodation

    If you wish to stay close to the conference you can book a room at Hotel Scandic Talk. If you prefer staying closer Stockholm Central there are several options within one kilometer.

  • Accessible to everyone

    Stockholmsmässan aims to be accessible to everyone. To ensure this, all our restaurants, congress rooms and exhibition halls have ground-level access. There may be limited access to some of our areas with level differences or events that attract large number of visitors. However elevators are available to all floors. You’re welcome to contact us before your visit if you have any questions.

    There is an information desk by the Main entrance and it is open during our events.

    Visitor service: +46 8-749 99 00 (we answer between 08:30 and 16:30 on weekdays), (we answer emails on weekdays).

    Parking spaces
    We have 20 parking spaces close to the Main entrance which are reserved for people with a disabled parking permit. Disabled parking permits are of course valid in all our other parking areas as well. If you have a permit, parking is free of charge.

    A limited number of wheelchairs can be borrowed from the Information desk by the Main entrance – you will need to show valid ID. It is not possible to book wheelchairs in advance.

    Stockholmsmässan’s permanent restaurants are accessible to wheelchair users.

    Restrooms for the disabled are available near the entrances, in the exhibition halls and in the galleries.

    A wheelchair-accessible elevator to the second floor is available in Gallery A. There is also an elevator down to Hall B and from the Entrance hall to the indoor parking. If you need assistance, please contact the Information desk in the Entrance Hall.

    Hearing aids
    Stockholmsmässan has a hearing aid system for hearing impaired people. The hearing aid loop has its own radio reciever, whch means that you will hear the performace/lecture very well without disturbing background noise. The hering aids are available at the following halls: Victoria hall, K1, K2, K11, K21, T1, T2. You pick them up in the Information desk upon presentation of ID.

    There is two ATM’s at the Main entrence and one ATM at the East Entrance. You will also find bank services in Älvsjö Center, only a fivev-minute walk from Stockholmsmässan.

    Children’s strollers to borrow 
    Yes, there are strollers you can borrow from the Information Center in the Entrance Hall. You will need to be able to show valid ID to borrow a stroller and it is not possible to book them in advance.

    Cloak-rooms are located in the two entrance lobby's, the A- and B-gallery and in the C-hall. The cloak-room facilities are subject to a fee that you can pay both cash and credit card. 

    Commuter train
    Commuter trains to and from Stockholm Central Station leave 8-12 times per hour. The journey takes approximately nine minutes. Tickets for SL trains and busses may be purchased at Stockholmsmässan. 

    Deposit boxes
    A limited amount of deposit boxes are located in the A-gallery and are subject to a fee with Swedish currency.

    Disability access
    Please read under “Accessible to everyone”.

    Dogs are not allowed to accompany their owners inside the exhibition center: The only exception we make is for assistance dogs. Obviously, show dogs are allowed into our dog shows.

    A wheelchair-accessible elevator to the 2nd floor is available in Gallery A. There is also an elevator down to Hall B, and from the Entrence Hall to the indoor parking. If you need assistance, please contact the Information desk in the Entrance Hall.

    First aid
    Our First Aid Room is located between the A and B galleries, behind the kiosk. We have a security company present at the facility around the clock, which has training in First Aid.

    Nursing rooms
    Stockholmsmässan has nursing rooms on the venue. You’re welcome to contact our information desk.

    Paymennt in Cashiers & Cloakrooms
    We accept Amex, Diners, Mastercard, Visa and Maestro. We also accept the following currencies in our entrance booths: Euros, Norwegian kroner, Danish kroner, British Pounds and US Dollars.

    Located in the lobby by the Main entrance.

  • Food & Beverage

    After a few hours at Stockholmsmässan you’ll need to refuel. Luckily, we have both a hotel and a catering company offering a wide range of cafés, fast food outlets and gourmet restaurants – all under one roof.
