Full house in Gothenburg – investors, publishing houses and start-ups at mingle
Last week more than 100 executives, researchers, media representatives and politicians met for an edtech mingle in Gothenburg.
”There is a great interest in investing in the edtech area. The discussions covered business opportunities as well as research about the changes about to happen regarding for instance Artificial Intelligence, AI”, says Jannie Jeppesen, CEO Swedish Edtech Industry.
The evening mingle in Gothenburg was hosted by the organization Swedish Edtech Industry in cooperation with EdTech Sweden and Edtech4change.
”We had a great mix of people at the event. People from different areas got together and one of the highlights was the presentation given by local start-up companies”, Jannie Jeppesen says.
The future of edtech business was another topic.
”I think Carl Heath, at RISE, gave a presentation that was an eye opener. New technology, AI and language technology, is about to transform the world of education”, she says.
